I am not a fan at all of how the romance languages sound. Learning Italian was a very frustrating process for me. But I felt so accomplished by the time that I left Italy. I was actually helping 2 women at a Christmas market in Germany. One was speaking German, the other was speaking Italian. So I was going between the 2 without any English!
I hope you get the chance to learn Italian some day!
